Insurance will be applied to accidents that occur while you are using Charichari. Please refer to the following procedures.
Contact the police
If you get injured in a contact accident, a police investigation is required. Please contact #110 or the nearest police box.
If the bike is damaged
Please confirm the "name, telephone number and insurance company" of the other party involved in the accident and inform the Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Support Desk.
Contact the insurance company
Please call "Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Support Desk", the contact number shown in the app, by following the procedure below.
- Tap "?" icon in the app.
- Tap “緊急時・事故にあった” （In case of emergency/accident）
- Select the relevant item
- Confirm your 証券番号（insurance policy number）
- Call to report the accident
※You will need the insurance policy number listed on the app to make a report. For more information on insurance, please refer to "Safety measures".
Report to Charichari customer service
Please report the details of the accident and the damage to your bike via the Charichari app.
