Insurance
Charichari has insurance to protect you in the case of an accident or injury. In the case of an accident, the insurance company may negotiate on your behalf.
1. Bike Comprehensive Insurance（自転車総合保険）
Personal Accident Compensation Clause
- Death and residual disability: 10 million yen
- Hospitalization: 5,000yen/per day

Hospital attendance: 2,500yen/per day
Liability Compensation Clause
- Up to 200 million yen
2. Facility Liability Insurance（施設賠償責任保険）
Amount of insurance
- Bodily injury: Up to 200 million yen
- Property: Up to 200 million yen
※Legal liability for damage compensation to third parties caused by our mismanagement of bikes, ports, etc. (e.g.) Damage to facilities caused by bike tipping over
Bike Equipment
Charichari’s bikes have lights, bells, baskets, 3-step gears, etc. for safe use. Although the bikes are maintained on a regular basis, please contact the customer services if you find any malfunction.
Bike Maintenance
Charichari’s bikes are regularly maintained by bike mechanics to ensure safe use. Ports and bikes are checked by the operation crew on a daily basis, and any malfunctional bikes are immediately collected and repaired. The operation crew also checks and responds to any minor problems with the bikes that are reported by customers.
Automatic Light Turn-on at Night
When you ride Charichari’s bike at night, the front light turns on automatically. If you find a light that does not turn on automatically, please stop riding and choose another bikes.
