1. Ride fee
Charichari charges a ride fee per minute from the time you unlock the bike to the end of your ride.
We have 2 types of bikes:
- Basic Bike: ¥7 per minute
- Electric Assist Bike: ¥17 per minute
When you lock up and finish your ride, the app will notify, and you can check your charges in the "Ride History" section.
While Temporary Parking Mode, you will be charged the same fees as during the ride.
※ Please be sure to turn on the notification setting to receive notifications so that you will not be unintentionally charged after locking your bike due to communication problems.
※ If you have any questions or concerns about the ride fee, please contact us by the end of day that you finish your ride. We will not be able to respond to any inquiries made after the next day.
2. Payment
Charichari requires a payment for entire month, and pay at following month, we don’t require pay-as-you-go.
You will need to register your credit card for payment.
Registering a payment method
Please register your payment method in advance and set up automatic payment.
Payment will be completed automatically from the next payment.
Up to 5 credit cards can be registered and the following card brands can be used for payment
- VISA
- Mastercard
- JCB
- American Express (AMEX)
- Diners Club
Automatic payments are made around the 2nd of the following month and you will be notified when the payment has been made.
Confirm payment details
You can check the details of your payment from "Payment" in the menu around the 2nd of the following month.

We will not be able to respond to any requests for payment correction after the 4th of the following month of your use.
Payment status is displayed below the amount of each payment.
If it shows "Paid", the payment has been completed.
Outstanding payment
If your payment status was “Outstanding”, you must pay by the due date.
If you have not paid, please follow below steps to make your payment.

Top left icon on the app > Payment > Unpaid month > Pay
Payment will not be completed automatically in the following cases.
Please check the details and pay by the due date.
- Payment failed
- You have not set up an automatic payment
- You are not eligible for automatic payment
If you have not paid by the due date, your account will be restricted.
In addition, you may not be able to receive various benefits.
Notes
Charichari is a service that charges by the time from the start of the ride to the end of the ride.
If you forget to lock your bike or if your ride continues unnoticed due to communication problems, we will not be able to correct the fee.
After locking the bike at the port, please make sure to confirm on the spot that the ride has finished on the app.
※ If there is any problem, please contact us by the end of the month in which the ride ended.
3. Ride ticket discount
Charichari offers "up to ¥90 discount ride tickets" for every certain amount of mileage you earned.
If you have ride tickets, one ticket will be used automatically for each ride.
Please note the following rules in advance.
- You cannot choose which ride to use the ticket for.
- Discounts cannot be carried over to other rides
- Ticket use cannot be cancelled
- Tickets are applied at the end of the ride
- Tickets may not be applied if the ride is terminated from the app
How to earn rewards by entering the code
By entering the Charichari "Invitation Code" or "Campaign Code" in the app and fulfilling the conditions, you can receive up to 90 yen discount ride tickets and mileage rewards.
4. Operation-related charge
As stated in Article 9 "Treatment of Abandoned Bikes" of the Charichari Terms of Use, if our service management confirms prohibited activities, you may be asked to pay removal and other costs, usage fees, and other damages to us.
Before using the service, please read "Prohibited Acts at the End of Ride" and follow the rules and manners set forth by Charichari service and the local community.
In case of removal by the local government
14,000 yen + removal fee by each municipality
When a bike is left or parked at a toll parking lot, etc. and collected by us
9,000 yen + bike parking fee at a toll parking lot
When bikes are left or parked in areas where bike parking is prohibited or where they cause troubles to land managers and are collected by our company
7,000 yen (*)
If a bike is left outside the area and we collect it, another damage fee will be charged.

5. FAQ
Q. Can I use the service even if I do not have a credit card?
A. We accept only credit card payments.
Customers without a registered credit card cannot use Charichari. Please kindly understand this.
Q. Can I register a debit card or prepaid card?
A. This is not covered by the warranty.
We ask that you register a credit card as debit/prepaid cards may not be accepted.
Q. I want my child to use Charichari service. Can I register the same credit card as my family members?
A. Yes, you can register the same credit card as your family members.
Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any problems that may occur if a credit card other than your own is used.
Q. My payment has not been completed, when is the payment date?
A. Charichari service fee will be completed on or around the 2nd of the following month
The debit date varies by credit card company, so please inquire with your credit card company.
Q. When I registered my credit card, I was charged 10 yen by Charichari.
A. Your credit card company may debit a small amount from your card balance to verify the "validity of the registered card”.
Usually, the refund is processed immediately. If not, please waite up to 60 days for your refund. If you do not receive a refund, please contact your credit card company.
Q. Can I get a receipt?
A. Yes, you can issue a receipt by following the steps below. Qualified invoices that are compliant with the invoice system can be issued from October 2023 (invoiced in November).
- Steps -
Go to the menu icon in the upper left corner of the application > Payments > Paid / Receipt Issued > Choose Paid Month > Issue a receipt
Q. What is the operation-related charge in the invoice amount?
A. Operation-related charges are charged when bikes are parked in prohibited areas or left unattended outside of ports, which are prohibited activities, and the service management has to collect the bike.

Q. After I temporarily parked my bike, I cannot open the bike.
A. You can read the QR code on the bike and terminate the ride on the app.
In case you have incurred excess charges, please contact us.
Also, since the problem may be caused by the communication status of your device, please try the following steps.
- Turn off the Wi-Fi setting on your device.
- Turn Bluetooth off and then on again.
- Restart the device.
- After performing the above, try unlocking the bike several times.
- If the smartphone’s battery is low, recharge the battery before trying again.
Q. I cannot finish my ride because the bike cannot be locked, what will happen to the fee?
A. You can end the ride by scanning the QR code on the bike on the app.
To end the ride
- Tap the elapsed time
- Tap "Bike cannot be locked"
- Follow the instructions and take a photo showing the QR code of the bike and the entire bike
- Tap "Do you want to report with this photo?" → Tap "Report".
When taking a picture of the bike, point the smartphone camera so that the bike and QR code are included in the picture, then you can press the take button.
If you cannot press the "Take picture" button, please try moving closer or moving away from the bike.
